Solar-powered SDI-12 data recorder housed in a UV weather-resistant polycarbonate enclosure. It’s equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-ion cell, capable of storing over 53,000 5-data point scans. Included in the package are a micro USB cable, 45° PVC neck with terminal adapter, solar panel, and SDI-12 terminal plug.

This standalone data logger boasts a rugged NEMA 4 enclosure and a solar panel circuit that efficiently charges its lithium-ion 18650 battery, ensuring reliable long-term data logging. Compatible with Acclima’s TDR and TDT SDI-12 sensors, it also works seamlessly with various third-party SDI-12 soil moisture sensors.

The Solar DataSnap simplifies sensor configuration with its free SnapView software for Windows®. With just a click, it automatically detects and configures Acclima sensors. SnapView supports configuration of reading intervals for up to ten SDI-12 sensors and also works with a wide range of third-party sensors. It enables data synchronization from multiple DataSnaps to a Windows® PC via USB, with support for up to five data points per sensor using the SDI-12 M! command. Data can be easily exported in CSV format, automatically generated and downloaded to a micro-USB thumb drive for further analysis.
